I don't have one :(( , do you need alot of hand strength for one? :)

Please email me your name and address at mjfincham@hotmail.com

Sorry for not getting here sooner today. I am having computer problems, we think my video card is going out on me but we are not sure because the computer works and then sometimes the screen goes all goofy and I have to reboot it. We thought it was the ram so we bought new ram nope keeps doing it, so our next step is to buy a new video card, but they don't sell these things cheap. I jsu had my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and it needed all sorts of other things changed and replaced. 500 dollars later I get my car back. 500 dollars could have bought a lot of computer parts but even more rubber stamp supplies!

Blue Moon if you can e-mail me your name and address I will mail out a Surprise RAK on Monday since my mail has all ready gone out for the day and no mail on sundays. Thanks for checking back.

Penguin Paradise Post Card

I lurked in a swap for a while and then decide to join after reviewing my stamps, this is a stampin up set called penguin paradise, it is old and retired. I buy alot of my stamps old, retired and used. It is alot cheaper that way. I love to garage sale and I found this set at a yard sale this last summer. I am so looking forward to garage sale weather again. Tired of the snow, would like to be outdoors a little bit more. Any way I created 6 of these cards. They are actually Post Cards, something I have never designed before because I have a hard time thinking in 1 layer. The word stamp is The Angel Company. Not sure of the name of the stamp set, I think it was just recently retired as well.

I have joined a Stampin up group. Where I commit to buying 15 dollar every month and one month I will host a party and get the hostess gift and such benefits. So I will be buying new stampin up stamp sets soon. Be patient with me. I just received my new stampin up catty, haven't had a chance to look through it with a fine tooth comb yet but I will.
Check back tomorrow my son is going to pick a name out of the hat for the lucky winner of the RAK coming your way! I'll post it sometime tomorrow! Thank you for all your comments on the cropadile II.

Scrap book page!

I haven't done a scrap book page in years and I think this shows it well. Well I at least I have attempted it again and can tell I need to practice but it's not completely terrible! I'll keep it, besides I love those boys they are so cute! I guess I just need to add more embelishments, or another picture!
This is just another project I have been working on lately! More to come and don't forget to leave me a comment foor yesterday's questions. I still haven't found anyone that has bought it yet. We all want it. I think it would be as easy as a stapler to use. But I still have the spring loaded eyelet punch set. I had to give up the hammer and board so anything would be easier to me.

Giving away an RAK! Post me a comment!

At the bottom of this psot leave me a comment telling me about your new cropadile II and I'll put your name in a drawing for a special RAK!

Sorry I have been MIA lately. Can't believe it has been a week since I last posted. Time flies when you are having fun! I have been pretty busy lately. I have gotten some stamping done. First I want to show you a RAK I received for JT's monthly Aloha RAK http://expressivelyme.blogspot.com/. It is a beautiful card made with chip board and my initials. This is going on my corkboard to be displayed.

I also got a new storage drawer for my unmounted stamps. I have been converting all unmounted stamps from magnet to acrylic mounting and storeing them in cd jewel case. This drawer system is perfect for them. My boss had this setting in the basement at the dental office I work at collecting dust. So I aksed if I could have it and he said yes. Yeah for me! The drawers are perfect size for the cd cases.

Now you probably want to see some of my work. We had our little group get together on friday. Our challenge of day was to create these two cards! Which was alot of fun! I really had a great time and learned alot. I have created som much this last week I am going to share a little bit at a time. I think my favorite card is the M&M Card. But I love chocolate. My mom made YUMMY treats for our snack she crushed up oreo cookies and cream cheese and dipped the oreo balls in

This is my youngest boy (he's 2) helping me in the crafting room. Denver and his brother have their own area in the stamping room, and stamping sets and crayons, so they leave mom's stuff alone. My Husband tries to remind me that they are boys and should not be crafting and should be playing with trucks. I say there is nothing wrong with being creative and developing their artistic genes.

I also received a wonderful Calendar from a dear friend of mine. I have learned so much from her on stamping, coloring and painting. She can always pull me get out of a lure in my creative juices. Thank you Stephanie for the wonderful calendar! I have that hanging on my cork board as well to be displayed. This way I know what day it is when I am fillingout the back side of my ATC's. Stephanie put alot of work and time into this calendar. I couldn't take a picture of each individual page. You get a oretty good idea from the picture. Each month is different and on both sides.

Well it is getting late and I have a few more things I need to post on before I head to bed. Check back again soon I finally made a scrapbook page, that I am going to share as well as some new ATC. I am workingon ATC's to trade at the stamping convention that is coming up this spring. I have not gone to a stamp convention in like 7 years. Major withdrawal! Saving my money. All though I have bought a few things from split coast stampers lately. I got a couple of new House mouse stamps, two new Bella stamps, and some new accessories. Mostly ribbon! But also some brads and eyelets!
Has any one boughten or used the new cropadile II from the HSN shown on TV lately? It looks like an enormous stapler. Leave me a comment on what you think about it, or if you do not have it but know someone who does. Tell me what they have said about it. I am trying to convince my DH that I need it. Post a comment by January 25, 2008 and I'll put your name in a drawing for a special surprise RAK from me. It's a surprise RAK because I am not sure what it will be yet but I am sure you'll like it! We all like fun things in our mail box!

Happy Monday! Here is a thank you card that I created for a swap I joined recently. It was kind of fun coming up with different shapes for each letter of the word Thanks. I think I should have added ribbon or something as well. But I didn't want to make it to busy looking. I have a tendency to make things look too busy.

But I have had a busy busy crazy monday and I have a birthday card to create yet! So I have to get off this computer and go create something great.

This is my wonderful Sister Tina is turning 27 years old tomorrow and she is a sweet dear sister to me she bugged and drove me crazy as a kid and now we are nest friends.

Happy Birthday Sis! Hope you have a great day!

RAK

I am long past due for posting this one! This was an RAK from Tracy at
Tracys Happy Place!

This was an RAK from JT'S Monthly RAK club Expressively Me Pieces of Me!
We had a break for December and now the RAK's are bcak going for the New Year!

I received from her back in November! Sorry I did not post this sooner Tracy.
Thank you Tracy for the wonderful card and stamped bella images and flowers.
I have had a great deal of fun working with the Bellas!

Winter Weather!

Woke up the other morning and all the trees and homes were covered in ice and snow. This is a picture of the tree out side my office window where I work. It is the most perfectly shaped tree I have ever seen. This tree is beautiful all year around, I hope to get a picture of it when it starts to blossom and each season as they go by this year! Isn't it beautiful!
This is the street looking down my street from home heading to work. Pretty yucky. It was too cold and wet to step outside for the picture so I just took it from inside the car looking through the wind shield. Turned out pretty good! The bottom of the picture is the cross street that the plows had allready gotten too. Looks more like a boarder but it is not.

My stepdaughter Grace likes to write so I decorated this little notebook for her to use at school or for a journal. Hope she likes it. She turned 16 last sept, I know 16 year olds can be alot of fun!
there is a clear (or some what clear) plastic covering that came on the notebook so the picture looks a little fuzzy.

I opended the cover up and you can see my work a little better.
Well I am off to work! I have to get the little ones dressed before I head so I better get off this. I have alot of stamping to catch up on this weekend. I ahve joined more swaps, and have fallen in love with HouseMouse again so come back soon and check out what I do with my House Mouse. Have to get a head start on Valentine cards too.
Have a Great Day!

Cigar Box

I recently received a Fabulous gift from my secret sister last month. There is a moose and bear stamp, ribbon, small gift tags, a box of chocolates, a card stock purse, and a stampin up ink pad. to include a Christmas Card. it was all wwrapped into a cigar box.
This is the card stock purse that held a good deal of the goodies.
This is a picture of the Cigar box before I got my hands on it.
This is what the box looks like now. I used a 12x12 sheet of paper from The Angel Company. I also used TAC ribbon. I am not sure if I am glad that I used all the ribbon behind each letter but it does add to it. I brushed on brown ink around the edges and then added gold metallic paint for some shine.
Closer look at the top! I am not sure what I am going to put into it just yet but this was a lot of fun to decorate. I think it would have made a good gift box, filled with candies and goodies. Like I received it! Also to make up some cards that match the box and envelopes to match and give as a stationary set. Or filled with home made goodies, decorated to celebrate the closest holiday. However this was a gift for me to decorate so i am chooseing to keep it, and I think I will store scrap ribbon in it or a journal maybe both the possiblities are endless.

Thank you Secret Sister, I absolutely LOVE this gift! It has all ready given me hours of enjoyment.

Decorated Envelopes

These last six are your basic card Envies! I thought these turned out great! Please post me a comment and tell me what you think!
Once you get started on decorating envelopes you can't stop!

Usually I decorate an envelope to match the card but I decided swapping a decorated envelope would be just as much fun as swapping cards. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=310978 So please come to Split Coast Stampers and check out my swap and Join. You do not have to be a member to join my swap leave me a comment here on my blog and I'll add you. It's also a good way to meat new people.

Any way today was a crazy day at work, the other assistant called in late because her well water froze her pipes and she had to go into her mother in laws house to take a shower. So she was 2 hours late getting to work. Then we started off late with a really bad broken tooth that put us behind schedule by 45 minutes. Our schedule was not logged into the computer and our charts were not pulled for the day so everything was fighting us starting at 8 am. I know I know typical for a doctor's office, then the front desk added an extra patient. We ran all day long and still didn't catch up. But I am off until Monday so I have a three day weekend and I am going to work on swaps and cards for my pals. Take it easy weekend to recoup from Christmas and New Years stress
