BLOG GOODY GIVEAWAY!
As you can see I have finally made it 1000 hits on my hit counter, so I am going to be giving away a Blog Goody! A friend of mine and I got together and decorated some cd folders with card stock 12x12's and these folders. So I am going to offer one of these folder as a Blog Goody to one lucky readers you will also get 3 blank folders for you to decorate yourself. This is one style of the cd folders, You may and you may not receive this one, I have not decided yet, and there are a ton of pockets so there will be a few extra goodies in the pockets as well. I have not yet decided? That will be a surprise!
All you have to do is leave me a comment on what your favorite project of mine is, and what you like about it. Also include you e-mail in the comment or check back here on Sunday April 6, I'll have my 5 yr old son randomly draw a name from a hat and announce the winner, I'll need your specifics. This is where I am coping a few other bloggers in this. Stamping the Details and my Pink Mexico Link a post on your blog to my post and I'll enter your name in the drawing twice.

This is the other folders I have made in the last three days! These are a lot better colors. I am more of a neutral person!

This is a view of the inside of two of them.

This is a picture of a blank canvas, or a blank cd folder, I used three of these with some glue and some card stock paper to decorate this. I had a ton of fun decorating these and I just know you will too.

This is a bargain I found at the Goodwill today! I went in looking for an old dictionary or a tore up bible to use cards or inchies. Any way they wanted 3 dollars for a dictionary that was part of a set and half the set was not there, all I would have gotten was a-m so I decided no. Then on my way out setting on a shelf with dishes was this beautiful unopened box of prima flowers. It had a bright light shining on it jsut waiting for me. I think I even heard a harp playing. Back to reallity! "OH WOW" I was excited and I thought "Oh geez please be a good price" And tada .99 cents, I could not believe my eyes, I was so excited I practically did a cart wheel right there in the store. I have been looking for prima flowers all over, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, online, I am just too cheap to spend the scrapbooking store prices for these flowers. I called my mom as I was leaving the store and she was just leaving Archivers and she said they had a jar of flowers for 6.99 so she bought them and wanted to know if I wanted her to go back in and buy me some. So of course I ruined her day! But hey I got 144 prima flowers for 99 cents. That never happens! I may have to include a few of these in one of the pockets of this goody folder.

View master

This is a House Mouse card I created using the technique Viewmaster!
The white wheel spins around on a brad and show you different pictures, which happens to be all House Mouse. It was a time consuming card, but well worth it in the end.
There is Blog candy Give away at My Pink Mexico go check her out. She is PIF a blog candy, which will be a banner/signature/watermark sets to 3 people. I think I could use the help!

Easter!

Happy Easter all eerr Late!

Sorry I am a day late on the Holiday again! But I

hope everyone had a wonderful day! We had a great day! The easter bunny hid his little eggs all over the house. We are still finding eggs today! We had a high of 42 yesterday adn windy, the boys did get to go outside and play but not for too long the north winds are still too cold. I am also late on posting my Easter Card, but I saw this card example on SCS I am not sure who it was but there was like 4 or 5 different versions of it and this one is mine. So easy and fun! I used a basket I got from a friend, amd I cut the bunny out with my sizzix circles, the back ground paper is embossed using a new cuttlebug folder in my sizzix. I love those folders.

I have joined another inchie swap, well two different swaps on SCS. One is a yard of inchies, and the other is 51 inchies, all 51 have to be different so you may be seeing alot of inchies on here. But they are so much fun and so easy to make. Anything goes with an inchie as long as it is 1 inch by 1 inch.

Well That is all I have for today! Have a great week, I am on vacation this week, we have nothing planned, we are not going anywhere and we are not doing anything, so maybe I'll get some inchies made. I also need to work on some cards!

Purina Story

Here is an inchie I created tonight. Not a bunch of work but I made over 40 of these! Took time. Nothing else to share so I have a story to share with you! When I read this I thought some people will try anything! Have a good evening, I am off to bed to read! I am reading "Wrong Place Wrong Time" By Andrea Kane so far so good!

Purina Diet

I was in Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina for my dogs and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog........ Duh!

I was feeling a bit crabby so on impulse, I told her no, I was starting the Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care unit with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. Her eyes about bugged out of her head

I went on and on with the bogus diet story and she was totally buying it. I told her that it was an easy, inexpensive diet and that the way it works is to load your pockets or purse with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The package said the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her. Horrified, she asked if something in the dog food had poisoned me and was that why I ended in the hospital.

I said no.....I'd been sitting in the street licking my butt when a car hit me. I thought the tall guy was going to have to be carried out the door.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Late

Hello, I hope everyone Had a good St Patrick's Day! I had my grandmother in law over for supper, my husband cooked up a delicious pot of corn beef and cabbage! Tradition in his family, someone always cooks corn beef and cabbage on St Patrick's day! I am not Irish so celebrating it just isn't for me. I tried to make ATC but my three attemps were flops and nothing looked right! So now I am looking into Easter things, I know I am seriously getting behind. However I did make this card a while back to share with you!

As you can see the middle picture is the front of the card. House Mouse hugging a Bird. Then I folded the paper to have a tear off book mark. Kind of a neat RAK for a friend. I had a lot of fun creating and giving this card to my special friend!

Melanie's Blog Link

If you did not check out Melanie blog last week you will want to check her out today! She has a really neat idea for the Altoid tins we all have laying around waiting to be reused. I purse she made it into a night on the town tin. With a handle. So Cool! She has the tuturial on how to make one as well!

Here is a box that I decorated last week for a co-worker. I have been terribley sick with a cold and cough. So for the last week she has been covering the slack at work for me, to help me out, taking the longer appointments so that I can take the shorter one and blowing my nose quite often. Don't worry I wash all the time, my hands are so dry I have washed them so much, anyway! I decorated the box with TAC DP and a house mouse stamp, I am not sure what or where the phrase came from. However, I then added 6 hand made cards and envelopes for her to send out and use as needed. SHe loved it and said it was not necessary. However I had fun making the box and cards.

My Cross Stitch work

Besides rubber stamping I have a list of other hobbies that I love to do. Just hard to find the time sometimes. However One is to cross stitch! I have recently made a set of Dallas Cowboys helmet coasters for a Thank you gift for my Seceret Sister. She is a cowboys fan. Obviously or I would have made a different team. I would have loved to have been there to see her face when she opened these up!
Today is a short blog haven't worked on much lately. Some of what I do work on is a secret, so I can't post it yet! However the clock is chiming telling me it is time to go warm up the car and head off to work.

Go check out Melanie She is celebrating lots of fun things and wonderful Blog Candy! Top 100 is Wonderful Congratulations Melanie!

St Pattrick's Day!

This is what I call an altered card! If you have seen this stamp before you know that the hedgehog is holding a basket of flowers. I cut out small clovers and added them to the card for a 3d look. It is a little hard to see it in the picture. I don't normally send out St Patty's day Cards because I am not Irish, however I love the way this turned out.

I have been battling the grudeg that is going around. The hot and cold temperatures, body aches, stuff head, cough and congestion this last couple of days. This grudge is horrible adn impossible to kick. Doesn't matter what a person takes they just can't make them self feel better even temperarily.

However I do try to get some stamping time in. I was givin a challenge by a friend to decorate a tablet, well two actually and I did get those taken care of last night. Yeah! I am anxious to show you what I came up with. It was a head scratcher for me I did have to have a bit of help. Now all I have to do is find the camera. Where did I put it? Another head scratcher!

I also received my order of ez-mount last night! 10 sheets What do I unmount first? I think I will start with the Stampin up stamps first! They take up alot of room. Only my favorites though, 10 sheets won't last too long!

Card Holder or Stamp holder!

This here is a Gift card holder that I recently saw at http://expressivelyme.blogspot.com/ Jen's blog. She did an awesome job, Well it inspired me to do some creating myself, been in a bit of a slump the last few days. Any way, back on track!
This is the inside, I am using this as a thank you, instead of a gift card I tucked a small set of rubber stamps from Michaels in there. It is a little hard to see but it fit if I cut the top of the package off. You know the part that is there to hang the package on a hook. Don't need that anyway! I have thank you stamped in gold in on the fromside of the inside and it says "heart to heart friend to friend may God bless you until we meet again!" I love that little saying! I think the front of this little pocket needs a little something more but not sure what. I also want to cut a half circle in the center so that the pocket stands out a bit more. First one is always a rough draft right?
